EDUCATION

Understanding your injury and treatment plan gives you awareness and confidence to move.

Empowerment

Pain impedes movement but having a thorough understanding of how you can manage your injury, will give you the confidence to return to what you love.

Exercise

When you do exercise, you gain confidence in your body and your self. Lets work together to get you stronger and more resiliant!

Empowering Strength through Education

As a former dancer and athlete, movement has always been a large part of my life.  My movement journey has been fueled by my passion for adventure and optimizing my health.  However, like many others, throughout my life I have always been frustrated about how an injury set back my fitness goals or my ability to participate in adventure.  I believe this is what drew me to become a physiotherapist and what continues to keep me passionate about helping people move.

Being plagued by injuries doesn’t just impact whether you can compete in sport, but it impacts our ability to participate in life.  This is what continues to drive my passion.  Through education, empowerment and exercise, I want to help people do what they want for longer and with greater ease.  My goal is to help people become comfortable with both traditional and non-traditional strength training and help them to understand how movement is a tool to help us participate in adventure for longer.

My Story

After competing in a figure competition in 2007, my love for fitness and movement was re-ignited. I did my certification for personal training and felt that it wasn’t enough. This drove me to go back to school to obtain a Bachelors in Kinesiology, and then a Masters of Sciences in Physiotherapy.

Once registered as a physiotherapist, I continued with my passion for learning through training to get my certifications in dry needling (CIDN/IMS), and concussion management.  I returned to University of Western Ontario in 2022 to obtain my Masters of Clinical Sciences in Advanced Healthcare Practice with a speciality in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, which also afforded me an FCAMPT designation.

Currently accepting patients in the North Shore at Level 10 Fitness.
