MY STORY
My journey in health and movement began to take shape in 2007, when I participated in a figure competition that reignited my passion for fitness. Eager to turn that passion into purpose, I became a certified personal trainer—but I quickly realized I wanted to do more. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy.
As a registered physiotherapist, I’ve continued to deepen my clinical expertise through advanced certifications in dry needling and concussion management. Most recently, I completed a Master of Clinical Science in Advanced Healthcare Practice with a specialization in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, earning the FCAMPT designation—a mark of excellence in manual therapy.

Empowering Strength through Education
As a former dancer and athlete, movement has always been a large part of my life. My movement journey has been fueled by my passion for adventure and optimizing my health. However, like many others, throughout my life I have always been frustrated about how an injury set back my fitness goals or my ability to participate in adventure. I believe this is what inspired me to become a physiotherapist and what continues to keep me passionate about helping people move.
Being plagued by injuries doesn’t just impact whether you can compete in sport, but it impacts our ability to participate in life. This is what continues to drive my passion. Through education, empowerment and exercise, I want to help people do what they want for longer and with greater ease. My goal is to help people become comfortable with both traditional and non-traditional strength training and help them to understand how movement is a tool to help us participate in adventure for longer.
